The potential customer will also ask questions and it's best if you have experience with the product and can answer those questions honestly from experience. So you've bought into the business are ready to go, now what? Find out what exact opportunities are available to you. Most Network Marketing companies offer a product to sell. You will want to learn about the percentages of commissions the company pays on retail sales. If you have a certain amount of money you need to make per week or month, then compute the amount of product you'll need to move/sell in order to earn that amount. For example, if you need to make $120.00 per week and you earn a 30% commission then you need to sell $400.00 in retail sales. Now, most home based marketing businesses not only offer you the opportunity to earn money through commissions but they offer you the opportunity to earn money through the commissions of others. That's right, you can earn money off of what someone else sells. Isn't that wonderful? If you believe enough in your business (and chances are if you're working it, you do) then you can earn a percentage off of what someone else sells simply by sharing that same opportunity you have with someone else. If that person signs up with the company, they become your recruit and you can earn money from their sales. It doesn't just stop there, however, you can earn money off of their recruits and their recruit's recruits as well. So, with network marketing, the sky is the limit and you are the astronaut.

Learn Affiliate Marketing The Right Way From Us
Are you new to the affiliate marketing game? You're probably pretty dazed and confused from all of the information that's being thrown at you by now. Am I right? Don't worry. It'll get a lot worse before it gets any better. Alright, alright, I'll stop, but, on a serious note, if you really want to learn affiliate marketing then there are a few necessary steps that you need to take right away. No joke! You need to stop whatever it is that you've been trying to do and take these following steps. If you'll do what I'm telling you to do then your odds of succeeding in affiliate marketing will have increased 100 fold. Here we go...

#1. Figure out exactly what it is that you want to do. What a concept! Yes, you can do something that you want to do online. You'll need to make a list of several things, just in case the first one or two are over saturated with competition or there isn't any money to be made there. You may not get your first or second choice, but you can still find things to do that you enjoy.

#2. Do proper market research. You'll want to see how many monthly searches the market gets that you're looking into. This is a debatable number because some people are making a killing with little tiny markets that may get as few as 100 searches per day, but a good rule of thumb is 10,000 searches per month in the entire market.

Example, "Golf" is a market niche, while "Golf Shoes" are a sub-niche. You would want to see how many total searches were being done for "Golf" and then choose a sub-niche to work in. You don't want more than 100,000 searches per month as the market is likely saturated.

#3. Look for competition. Some competition is a good thing because it means that people are buying stuff in that market. Of course, if you look at the term "Golf" you'll see dozens of Adwords ads and millions of pages. I don't recommend THAT much competition.

#4. Actually, this should be #1., but oh well. You need to learn how to build a basic web page. You can use an html editor if you want, but you really should learn at least the very basics of html. It's a pain, but it's not that difficult. Spend a little time with it each day and in a month or two it will come naturally. You can use the html editor to start out though.

#5. Find a mentor. If you really want to learn affiliate marketing then you need to find someone that's doing exactly what it is that you want to do. Think about it. If you want to become a Chef, you go to cooking school and learn from a Chef how to do it. The same applies here. If you really want to learn affiliate marketing then finding a mentor will increase your odds dramatically.

Learning affiliate marketing can be very tough. There are a lot of pitfalls and con artists out there that will trip you up and keep you from succeeding, if you allow it. Find a mentor and learn affiliate marketing the right way the first time around.
